Today 25% of the population faces a looming water crisis. In 2025 that figure is projected to rise to 60% (Source WEF 2020). Hitachi is working tirelessly to solve this challenge. By combining different disciplines, Hitachi is able to stabilise the water pressure in pipes, predict the flow, and assess the condition of the network. This involves understanding weather patterns, human usage patterns, and the network’s priorities.
