    Go-Ahead Singapore

Data Analysis for Smart Decision Making

As a local public transport provider, Go-Ahead Singapore is responsible for operating 30 bus services. This meant that it had an abundance of raw data to analyse and develop into actionable insights.

With its expertise, Hitachi supported Go-Ahead Singapore in measuring and improving their bus operation efficiency through the development and maintenance of a customised big data analytics web portal. This enabled scheduling staff to positively enhance the performance of their bus services. Through data-driven discoveries, Hitachi transformed raw data into meaningful information for staff to identify issues quickly and accurately, strengthening Go-Ahead Singapore’s accuracy of bus services timings for a better and smoother service delivery.

    Takashimaya Transcosmos International Commerce

Moving into the Future with ERP System

Takashimaya Transcosmos International Commerce (TAKATRANS) created a platform to bring quality Japanese products to overseas markets, establishing overseas sales networks of brand principles and supplier companies.

Lacking a modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, TAKATRANS faced difficulties in streamlining its business processes. To overcome this challenge, Hitachi worked closely with the different departments and business units to align their requirements, and developed a blueprint used for new ERP system implementation. By identifying the major gaps in the business processes, Hitachi’s efforts have helped TAKATRANS establish a clear vision forward with a modern ERP system to improve productivity and be ready for digital transformation of its business.

    ERIKS

    Intelligent Warehouse Management System

ERIKS is a specialized industrial service provider of high-quality mechanical engineering components and associated technical and logistics services. Without a systematic inventory solution, stock-taking was manual and laborious.

Hitachi helped ERIKS Singapore implement an end-to-end, automated and paperless Warehouse Management Solution (WMS) which integrated with their backend SAP B1 system. The WMS sped up the overall warehouse process and improved the workflow management, allowing the management to better plan their operation activities and monitor department and individual performances.
