Supporting the policymakers Hitachi Water Environment Solutions is leveraging group's OT x IT-driven globally acknowledged sustainable water solutions that will optimize water distribution and usage while empowering the citizens even in the arid parts of the country.

In India nearly a billion people live in areas that are hard pressed for safe water of which more than 600 million dwell in areas of extreme water scarcity.(1) The urgency for an innovative and sustainable water management solution in the country is evident from the magnitude of the challenge of optimally distributing only 4% of the world's fresh water resources to the world's second largest population.
