Hitachi Rail has re-named the Piazza De Ferrari metro stop in Genoa. It will now be called the Ferrari-Hitachi metro station. The rebranding will include various panels to explain the vision and the technological contribution of Hitachi Rail to making travel faster, safer and more comfortable.
In addition to the re-styling of the central Genoa station, Hitachi will also rebrand a subway train and an AMT bus. The Hitachi rebranding is part of a fundraising project called ‘Your metro’ that aims to improve the quality and experience of the Genoese metro system.
