As an Official Sponsor of the 2018 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), Hitachi Automotive Systems led a dynamic marketing campaign to expand customer relationships, increase brand awareness, and connect with job seekers. Over 809,000 people attended the NAIAS, January 14-28, at Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan, where Hitachi’s automotive team managed two displays and an eventful agenda.
Every year over 50,000 people descend upon Chicago for the Radiological Society of North America Annual General Meeting on Thanksgiving week. The show runs from Sunday to Thursday for exhibitors and 2017 provided 52,657 registrants, including 24,953 professional registrants the opportunity to explore first-hand what Hitachi has to offer. Hitachi Healthcare deployed the full portfolio of MR, CT and Ultrasound products across the 12,800 square feet of booth with live demos every half hour throughout the show.

Patient centric imaging requires a focus on comfort which is impacted by both scan length and modality design. Traditional systems did not take into account body habitus and provided poor image quality. Hitachi Healthcare Americas has designed modalities with the patient in mind. Hitachi demonstrated its portfolio of CT, MR and US products at the American Hospital Radiology Administrators 45th Annual Meeting and Exposition in Anaheim, CA July 9-12.
The Hitachi Group sponsored “The Economist Sustainability Summit 2017,” held from June 6th to June 7th 2017 in Austin, Texas. This summit brought together more than 200 industry leaders, prominent investors, policy makers, economists and academics to create a constructive dialogue around the actions needed to make a sustainable future a reality, focusing on innovation in manufacturing, surrounding technologies, and policies.
Premium cardiac and vascular imaging rose to a new standard as Hitachi Healthcare Americas introduced the new premium 2D and 3D cardiovascular ultrasound system, the LISENDO 880, at the American Society of Echocardiography Scientific Sessions (ASE2017) on June 3rd. The LISENDO 880 created a lot of interest and excitement from the cardiology clinicians attending the conference as they saw for themselves how Hitachi Healthcare is Redefining the Vision for Cardiac Ultrasound.
The Bloomberg Breakaway Summit, held on May 2-3, 2017 in New York City was created to give CEOs actionable information they can use to navigate the challenges of rapid growth in a changing economy and evolving technology landscape, and how to take their companies to the next level. The event, sponsored by Hitachi, included insightful panel discussions and interviews with innovative thinkers to hands-on, solutions-oriented workshops to facilitated networking opportunities.
DistribuTECH is one of the largest annual conference & exhibition events for electric power transmission and distribution in US. It addresses technologies used to move electricity from the power plant through the transmission and distribution systems to the meter and inside the home. Held in the San Diego Convention Center from More than 13,500 Individuals from 78 Countries, including qualified professionals from 326 Electric, Gas and Water Utilities as well as Renewable Generators attended DistribuTECH in Feb 2017.
The Hitachi Social Innovation Forum 2016 in North America took place on November 15th 2016 at The Fairmont Hotel & at Hitachi’s new Global Center for Social Innovation in Santa Clara, California. This HSIF, which was presented as an R&D Symposium with the theme, “Transforming the Future: IoT Insights & Innovations” focused on Hitachi’s vision of Social Innovation in our lives, our businesses, and our industries by convening with visionary and strategic thinkers who together will shape the future of IoT.
Picture this – Twelve exhibition halls, featuring over 1,900 exhibitors and covering 840,000 square feet, packed with the latest technology side by side to some of the largest mining equipment. This was MINExpo 2016.
The first Hitachi Social Innovation Forum 2015 in North America took place on April 29th 2015 at the Encore Resorts in Las Vegas. The forum focused on Hitachi’s vision of Social Innovation and how Hitachi plans to implement this vision
In April 2014, Hitachi was a sponsor of the Bloomberg New Energy Finance Summit. The theme of this year’s summit was Phase Change: New Business Models, New Market Structures. Given the profound changes taking place in the energy sector, this year’s summit was more important than ever.
June 10, 2014 marked the sixth anniversary of a joint annual forum presented by Hitachi, Ltd., the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and the Brookings Institution. The focus of this year’s forum was “The New Eco-System of Information: Harnessing the Potential of Big Data.” The forum was held at the AAAS headquarters in Washington, D.C., and featured a keynote presentation from Virginia governor Terry McAuliffe.
The 2013 USJC Annual Conference was held in Washington, DC from October 3-5, 2013. October 16th, 2013 marked the fifth anniversary of a joint annual forum presented by Hitachi, Ltd., the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and the Brookings Institution. This year’s forum was centered on the ongoing shale gas boom and how it is shaping energy security and environmental issues across the world.
