At COP26 in Glasgow, India committed to achieve Net Zero target by 2070¹ and further achieve by 2030 the following targets:

500 GW of renewable energy (RE) capacity

50% of energy requirements met by RE

1 billion tonnes carbon emissions reduction

>45% reduction in carbon intensity of economy
